Spring is almost here and so is the Kitchener Waterloo Home & Garden Show!
This year’s special guest is Frankie Flowers, who will be on the stage on Saturday, March 24th. Frankie reaches over one million viewers each week as the gardening expert for BT Toronto, Cityline and City TV News. His latest book, Pot it Up! presents 150 inspiring, beautiful and sometimes surprising container ideas to get your juices flowing. Throughout the three days, professionals inform and entertain. Visitors are encouraged to attend and “Ask the Experts” their questions about decorating, renovating, and landscaping.
The Show is celebrating 30 years in 2012, is the largest and most successful home and garden show in the region. More than 250 booths, filling two arenas, display a vast array of products for the home and garden including kitchens and baths, flooring, roofing, windows and doors, heating and air systems, fireplaces, spas and leisure products, sunrooms, landscaping, and smart technology.
You can check out the show at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium from Friday through Sunday. Cost is $8. For a complete schedule visit http://www.kwhgs.ca/Index.html
If you are ready for some belly busting laughs than you should check out the Uptown Waterloo Comedy festival which started last night. The show runs through to Saturday and is sure to give you a giggle or two. There is something for everyone even the family. I myself will be checking out the family show at the princess theatre on saturday so watch out for Diane, myself and all 7 kids!!
